We live in south Florida and often travel HWY 29 from LaBelle to Everglades City. This blend is inspired by our visits to the Skunk Ape Headquarters and our friendship with David Shealy, Headquarters Owner and Florida Skunk Ape Expert located in Ochopee, FL. In his book, On the Tracks of the Skunk Ape, Shealy reports the existence of the Skunk Ape dates back hundreds of years through documentation of settlers and oral history of the indigenous people. Sealy has appeared on media channels such as Discovery, History Channel and Animal Planet, to name a few.
