Through our travels, we often meet interesting and wonderful people. One such person is Kent Daniels from Chokoloslee, FL, a life-long resident and one of the fishermen who turned to marijuana smuggling to survive following changes in federal fishing restrictions. Gators are everywhere, in canals, on the banks and if we are fortunate, we see them crossing sandy and gravel roads as we travel by truck, side by side or in our swamp buggy. Ancient and dark, they have a sway that is all their own.
