Burmese pythons are invasive in the Florida Everglades, introduced through the pet trade and accidental or intentional releases. They have significantly reduced populations of native wildlife by preying on mammals and birds. While hunting, we noted that the pythons hid themselves in woody, grassy, and areas covered in deadfall.
